"Charlie" Spencer Chaplin was the most famous actor in earlyHollywood cinema, and later also a notable director. He spent part of his childhood walked among the first institutions of poor youth and a life of poverty and insecurity along with his motherand his half-brother. He made his first appearance on stage when he was only five years to help his mother, with a sudden extinctionof the vote.
  In Brazil it is also known as Carlitos (equivalent to Charlie), name of one of its most famous characters. Chaplin was one of the most creative personalities in the film was mudo.Seu maincharacter was The Tramp.
Chaplin began his career as a mime, doing tours to showcase their art.
In 1972 he received an Oscar recognizing his contribution to the film industry. He died on 25 December 1977 without ever havingceased writer and musician.
